Ukrainians are growing increasingly weary of the war with Russia. Gallup's latest surveys of Ukraine show 52% would like to see the war end as soon as possible.
Russia was willing to negotiate two months into the war, when all they were asking for was for Ukraine to be neutral and to implement Minsk. Then the west sabotaged those negotiations, and now Russia won the war, so yeah they’re going to dictate terms.
