So, the more speculation made about who bubba was – and I’m not sure it really matters for this post – tRump being big mad about trans people, wearing makeup so consistently, being so ashamed of who he is sexually attracted to that he’d do a foreign authoritarian’s bidding to destroy their adversaries (the US govt. and NATO) to hide evidence of such acts, would explain a bunch of things that previously seemed detached to me. What if the end to tRump’s saga is the discovery that he could have been an ally of LGBTQ+ had he only had good parents and be part of a generation that was more open to that lifestyle? On his deathbed, if it comes out he was just closeted, would there be more sympathy for him in historical texts and opinion?

I hate him and his enablers more than I can legally ever express outside of my head. This was just a thought I had after the last few days of speculation over recent emails and after some edibles had kicked in. I still think he definitely diddled kids, for sure, but that’s never been a deal breaker through time; pretty sure some states still have marriage legally available for 14yo kids with parental consent. However, knowing the median age of his supporters, and conservative vitriol toward the queer communities despite them seeming to crash Grindr whenever there’s a major conservative get together, I could see this sort of revelation feeling more damning for him and his support than the pedo stuff, alone, if it got out.

It’s an amusing premise, but I think that if you actually pay attention to the arc of his life and everything said by the people who understand him (Mary Trump’s book is perhaps the best on this), it doesn’t bear out.
By all evidence, Trump doesn’t really experience romantic attraction, and his sexual appetites have always been primarily for power and attention. Read Stormy Daniels account of his “lovemaking”. He doesn’t really like getting sweaty. During the years he was a famous lothario, he widely faked this image due to having an enormous fear of STIs, especially HIV.
He does seem to enjoy bodies, but almost always through the thrill of conquest: he likes taking something he considers a prize.
Does he secretly long for cock? Has he suppressed urges under social pressure? Almost certainly not. He’s always revelled in being sexually deviant, and thrilled in violating social norms, so if he wanted men he likely would’ve direct the 90s getting rich for being a famous gay pervert instead of a getting rich for being a famous straight pervert.
It’s highly likely that he’s gotten sexual service from men or femboys, because that fits the profile. But suck a dick? No. Never. Not because it’s gay: because it’s giving. This is a guy who has almost certainly never given oral service to anyone, man or woman.

There can be more than one thing that makes him a terrible person. I would just think this could feel to him like the thing that would make even the most die-hard tRump supporter drop support in him.
Even then, I wouldn’t have any sympathy for him. Like you said, he COULD have been an ally, he COULD have done something to make future generations not feel the shame he felt, but he didn’t. He clung to fame and fortune and inflicted even more suffering on many types of people.
If anything, it would make me respect and sympathize even less than I already do.

In my mind, many active homophobes are secretly bisexual. They’ll say its a choice. Which we all know its not.
Bisexuals are the only ones who actually do have “the choice” to be gay or not to be gay. (Inb4 pansexual reverse heteropref transmasc because I dont have the brainpower for that many fields on the chart).
In my experience most of them are just straight up gay. The choice thing is more rhetoric imo
