Played the intro/demo thing they had up a while ago. The world and stuff seemed promising. The combat was slightly better but still quite similar to the original game. Which imo is not that good of a thing. I’m still gonna play it, cause I love the game, but still… was hoping for a bigger improvement in what I consider to be the side of the game that most needed jt.

How so? These companies are actively trying to make their platforms addictive. And it’s pretty well established at this point that social media is harmful to mental health, is it not? It’s a society and parenting issue as well, obviously, but that doesn’t mean these companies shouldn’t be regulated.

The Judas case was complete bullshit, however. The message was “do it”, wasn’t it? So even if it had been a purposeful subliminal message, it’s like saying Nike’s slogan is harmful. It’s silly.

Nah, mostly she just complains about pretty normal stuff that’s unrelated to that. She’ll be back next week, this time she stayed a bit longer than usual, might’ve felt less like a tourist this time so might have actual complaints. But I doubt it. I have a russian coworker that goes back every year to visit her family. She too insists that russia is awesome and it’s even better since the war started. Do I believe her over all the other Russians/Ukrainians/Moldavians I’ve met? Hell no. Propaganda is a helluva drug. I’m sure all those places aren’t as bad as American media makes them out to be, don’t get me wrong, but they’re not as peachy as their side says either.

Not even close. Plus, it’s not just about feature parity. It’s also about ease of use. EGS is still shit as of 2 months ago.

Microsoft has an app called ‘microsoft visio’. This is a different visio. That’s what they’re asking. But the visio stands for “visioconférence” which is their word for videoconference. Many people in France just say “I have a visio” when they have to use one of these apps, regardless of which one they use. So op is asking about a potential trademark infringement but I really don’t think it’s gonna be an issue because it’s such a common word.

Haven’t played the new colossus yet but the new order was pretty good. I can recommend it.

I’m quite chill… just pointing out the difference between fact and opinion. And besides, who gets to decide what is a masterpiece and what isn’t one if not “everyone”?

No game can ever satisfy everyone. But just because it wasn’t for you doesn’t mean it’s not one of the greatest RPGs ever. I didn’t enjoy clair obscur like I thought I would, but I’m not gonna pretend it’s not an amazing game.
