I wish the jokes would stop tbh, keep joking and people keep thinking it isn’t that serious. Until they stop, people feel safe doing nothing. People need to stop feeling safe, because they fucking aren’t. I keep watching clips of Jon Stewart and Jon Oliver making the same satirical jokes they always have and it boggles my mind they’re still cracking jokes while America is being torn apart. What’s the benefit in that?

Yes, it is. It’s an actual fascist takeover by the right, of the most powerful nation on earth. The heart of democracy is being stopped. People keep going about their lives like this is another fucking Tuesday.
