I’d use an s3 bucket with s3fs. Since you want to host it yourself, Minio is the open-source tool to use instead of s3.

I think they are trying to go back to before they were grown up and had to deal with adult issues. They idolize their innocent childhood and some how associated that as the time when America was great. They find it really confusing that the child’s perspective of that time window was flawed. They also find it confusing that different age conservatives all imagine a different time window for when life was good.

You have to keep telling yourself that truth and justice and love will win in the long run even though it appears they are losing at the moment. Over and over you have to convince yourself to have hope for the larger picture.

Some turn to religion and the promise of justice in the next life as that source of hope.

Others look at not just the rise of evil and willful ignorance in history, but it’s ultimate fall every time too.

Are we in for a long dark time, or a short one? It is hard to tell. Look for the little signs of hope in the news rather than dwelling on the tragedies. They are there. It is the only way to stay sane and keep moving forward.

There are way more good people doing good things than there are nasty selfish racist pigs. Look for and draw strength from the good. The evil will burn itself out.

I believe Trump’s dementia will soon render him unable to hold his coalition of evil together and it will collapse. I hope it is replaced with something more positive and not an equivalent regime.

I think we are still trying peaceful protests and hoping upcoming elections will change things. There is little appetite to escalate to violence yet.

It is inevitable that ice and ice barbie will encounter violent opposition when they raid a wrong address sometime soon. But it will be localized to that location.

Most of the radical groups of self armed wackos are working for ice now and reveling in their racism.

No one will win because while we are messing around worrying about skin color and genitals – climate change; new pandemics; the collapse of pollinators; the acidification of the oceans; the proliferation of nuclear waste; and other similarly critical issues will remain unaddressed and doom us all.

If those guys are supposed to be in uniform - no two are dressed the same. One guy didn’t tie his shoes, another’s jacket doesn’t fit. It is very sloppy and unprofessional looking.

It just feels so hopeless. Hate and fear and intolerance and shear ignorance seems to be ruling supreme. Bullies and jerks have no checks. We’ve driven the train off the cliff. The only question is are we actually big enough to take the world with us or will we crash by ourselves? I keep expecting to hear any day that they’ve tried to launch some 50 year old nukes and they exploded on the launch pad.
