I have the same question except it’s a Pi B+ from 2014. It doesn’t seem powerful enough for most Pi recommendations I see online.
Nice! I could tell instantly it was a Prius. I am never thrilled to replace the battery in mine. If you don’t get that black tubing back there reseated and bolted in properly it gets incredibly loud and annoying.
On the other hand, the dealership charges almost $200 in labor to change it, so I am learning to love the process.
I read this in the “Watch those wrist rockets!” way and completely lost it.
Code Ment “Where are you right now!?” “I’M AT SOUP”
A classic that has not aged well, but that scene will always be great.
Plus that Gavin Belson guy keeps trying to jam his horrible signature into his products.
That’s how I view it too. If you can consume something without financing further harm then the author doesn’t matter. Already own a Niel Gaiman book? Feel free to keep reading it. Pirated some metal music from a band that turned out to be neo-nazis? Go for it. Want to read Lovecraft? He’s long dead and his estate doesn’t seem to be supporting racism, so buy as much as you want. Want to check out Mein Kampf from the library? I will have questions when you return it, but you aren’t hurting anyone by reading it. Just understand the mindset that made them bad people and don’t let them sway your outlook to match.
Exactly. I was in the same boat as OP because my GPA was trash. I probably missed some opportunities because of it when trying to land my first job. But after I got one in my field, I was never asked for my GPA again, or even evidence that I went to college. Employers only want to know what you did in your last job, and only default to grades or diplomas if you have no relevant work history.
Is it possible to do something like this with a newer router? My wireless-G router is finally dying after 20 years, and if I need to upgrade it’d be nice to wrap it all in one.
If I had a nickel for every time I’ve heard this I’d have enough nickles to fund a studio and make HL3 myself.
You’re also supposed to change your oil filter and furnace filter 2-4 times per year, I guess. I deal with all three once per year and they have rarely blown up on me.
Definitely agree on Stranger Things. Season 1 was actually really good, but they kept ramping everything up in later seasons and it lost all of what made S1 good.
I tried watching My Hero Academia with a friend and it was rough. Basically every trope that made me burn out on anime was dialed up to 11. My friend tried to explain that it was satirizing those tropes, but I couldn’t handle it.
That was exactly what I liked about it. My primary complaint about season 2 is that it’s faster paced. But if the pacing’s not your style then season 2 would not be worth the grind.
Yellowstone. With shows like The Sopranos or Sons of Anarchy you know the characters are evil, but you can connect just enough for it to be compelling.
In Yellowstone it feels like they want you to see the characters as the heros, when they are mass-murdering, slave-owning oligarchs. They buy cops and politicians to gain power, but get bent on revenge if other powers don’t “play by the rules”. I didn’t last too long, but everyone else seems to love it.
I think they used one in Gattaca, which makes sense since they were training to be astronauts.
Who else woulda ripped 'em?
This is my exact setup. The upgrade from the smart TV was night and day. Apps load instantly and Jellyfin works great. Most importantly the remote is easy to use and can control the TV.
This is also my guess.
I was hoping for something more like this:
I’m still trying to figure out how to bonsai it so that it doesn’t overtake the entire thing and end up as a woody mess with a couple leaves pressed right up against the LEDs. I end up restarting my basil every year because so far I have been unsuccessful. I use a lot of basil and make a lot of pesto, but it’s never enough.
