It feels like a paradox to me: the meaning of life is to find meaning in life.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If all your basic needs were met and you didn't have to work to get by, what would you do with your life?English
3·1 year agoI’m there. I’m hanging out with friends, spending time in nature, I have a few hobbies, and the rest of the time I’m summoning the wrath of the gods and goddesses to smite the corrupt powers of the world.
So, I’m pretty content.

22·1 year agoWindows 11 was much much shittier, idk about the rest of their products, I haven’t used them.
And I switched over to steamOS, so I won’t be using any of their products again.

87·1 year agoSo the CEO is trying to tell investors that they are saving money by not paying employees. But to me it sounds more like: we are letting our sub-par products continue to enshitify, and any other company using AI to program will be equal competition.

2·1 year agoI’m using a legion go, it uses more power than a cell phone, but offers much more processing power.
For awhile I used a refurbished Chromebook, it was very efficient, maybe 10-16 hours on a charge, bigger screen than a cell.
Thank you, your comment helped me realize that I needed to change the OS Update channel from Beta to Preview, and it allowed me to update without an issue.
Many thanks!
Thanks for all of that info
Since I’m novice, I’ll just share This
I’m assuming it can be mounted, and I’m expecting newer versions to have some additional menus/firmware, or some such. My primary focus is a fan controller.
And yeah, I know it’s a different distro, but Arch based from what I understand.
The built in updater currently attempts to update to an older version. I already did that once, and had to fix it off a boot drive afterwards.
