I’m sure there’s ways to see it as a bad thing, but the idea of only letting experts on a subject speak publicly about the subjects sounds like it could be really beneficial, particularly in some areas.

Of course if universities are corrupted or controlled it’s definitely a bad thing. And of course shitty people are always going to be trying to control whatever mechanism or criteria keeps certain people from speaking.

But it’s a nice idea.

I lived there for 10 years and have a lot of fond memories of the place. It’s always had its problems, but it’s always been an amazing country in a lot of ways. But I got to see the Obama years and the growth of the tea party and this was always coming. I’m convinced that leaving when I did is the best decision I’ve ever made for myself and my family, and I really feel for all the people who are stuck there with this insane death cult.
