Yeah and it’s also bizarre that these companies released a native version, then… not test it? Why even bother?

You know how people used to put pictures of their loved ones in a locket, or in their wallets, or as a background pic on their phones? That’s what they were supposed to be. (As told by a catholic friend)
I can accept that. I have one of my kids in the car cause I used to drive like a maniac. It’s a constant reminder of the kind of person I should be while driving.
But of course, people will be people, ignoring what they’re told and doing whatever the hell they like… “This statue cried blood, let’s pray to it!” (and ignore the leaking toilet upstairs)

There’s a missing implied knowledge they forgot to mention: ProtonDB tracks games on Steam. So it’s 90% of windows games available on Steam (without a native Linux build)

Grew up watching news of Palestinians and Israelis killing each other. Good thing that was 40 years ago.

but how
I know this sounds cliche as, but I just try to fix it one smile at a time.
Mum used to tell me this story and it has stuck with me for more than forty years.
Two kids were walking at the beach when they saw thousands of beached fish, gasping for their lives. So one kid picked up a fish and threw it back in the water. The friend said, “there’s thousands of them, you’re not making a difference!”. “Well, I did for that one”.
As a parent, I reckon a voluntary system like this (if I understand correctly) could be very handy. I could create a child account and automatically get age gated content for it.
And when said child is smart enough to circumvent the system, then they deserve whatever content they manage to get their hands on. I’d be so proud.
But I’m sure capitalism would find a way to abuse and misuse the system for gains.
