I like the kindle hardware, but the kobo software. Thankfully I managed to jailbreak my kindle while adbreak was available, so now I (almost) have the best of both worlds. (Still getting used to koreader)

Its not about how much it costs. It about how much it saves…

Reference to a bad* movie that I think everyone forgot. Except for me… Making sure that movie won’t be forgotten. (Well, I think its bad)
Never bothered with an avatar.

Apple TV remote has a USB C port for charging

I would prefer a smaller HUMAN internet, over a bigger AI internet.

This is just like the golf incident

They have this concept in Artemis Book is about a city on the Moon, and Andy Weir being a sci-fi nerd, talks a lot about the problems and solutions for that city.
So showers there are like that. (I don’t want to spoil it, but there so many cool solutions the author comes up with)

Building flags though mathematical proofs. No measuring. Only straight edges and unit circles. Lots of maths that went over my head, but I enjoyed

Last week I found a YouTube video about making flags in PowerPoint. There are still great vids out there, but they getting rarer.

Very easy to use

Last year I left town for Christmas. Family is always rushing to church, then to photos, then to lunch/dinner.
Rush rush rush.
Apparently its tradition. (I thought family time is more important, no matter if its 8am in a church, or 11am at the beach)
Go by myself to the Big City. Got to sleep in on Christmas day. Peace. Quiet. Best Christmas ever.
Tiny phones are fun. Plan to make this a dedicated MP3 player

Back in the covid lock downs, I went down a rabbit hole with alternative operating systems. I found TheHatedOnes video on GrapheneOS, got the cheapest pixel from a pawn shop, and started experimenting on the mobile side of things
As for my PC, I’m not sure if this video exists, or it did and its gone, or I was just dreaming, but I’m sure there was a SomeOrdinary Gamer video about how windows 10 wanted a 1080p webcam.
That was the final straw for me, and I started duel booting to get used to Linux. I knew back then I would never go to windows 11, so I knew the sooner I start switching, the more comfortable I would be when windows 10 reaches EOL.

Owner has everything as open source/de-googled as possible. User 2 has YouTube/twitch for my video game communities. User 3 is work mode with pretty much Outlook for work. (And apps that work wants)
Users 2 and 3 have play services enabled just to reduse headaches in the future

I just saw the post about Red Dead 2 becoming the 4th most sold game.
It is 100% not my thing.
Its sad that I enjoyed GTA V, and am semi looking forward to GTA VI too, but the wild west genre is not for me.

Just wait till night time

You invisible? Or you AND your clothes invisible?
Otherwise the in between phases can be awkward.

Check out the buns on that guy.
This is the comedy police! Your joke is too funny!
IM NOT GOING BACL TO JAIL!!!

Its fun to learn how the system works, but after the 4-5th time trying to install something real quick, and there’s an error in your package.use or something, it gets a lot less fun.
If you have the time and patience, its really cool. But I just want a web browser without having to edit 3+ text files to allow it to work.
