Ah okay. Yeah that focused thing is able to be turned off by I ignored it at work when we had it. I do know when I would alter spam blocks if an actual email did get blocked that wasn’t supposed to for one of the companies I worked out it was 10’s of thousands of emails it was stopping, and maybe 2 accidental blocks a month, which was pretty impressive. But that wasn’t AI, as that was pre chat gpt and shit.

I haven’t noticed this, I have noticed ads showing up in Gmail accounts which is very annoying, but what kind of filtering are you talking about, like promotions/social networks or whatever? I made a proton email before they started saying/doing dumb stuff, but that email seems pretty plain still. I really haven’t bothered to venture out with email.

You make a good point that there aren’t more classifications, the only other one I can think of is state dependent, and that’s vehicular manslaughter.

My wonders are around how this will effect the video software market in say 10 years. In 2010 if you said you wanted to get into video editing I would have said I dnt know much but people swear by professional tools developes for Mac os x.

If Mac Pros go aways, professional software wouldn’t be used by big industry, but rather just hobbyists… Which to me seems like the death of video editing long term on Mac.

Yeah, I’ve gotten 3 or 4 haircuts in the last 15 years that were from barbers. But I don’t care as much about what others think I guess. I cut the sides with a single length, then the top with scissors or buzz it to a longer length if I’m lazy. The only tough part is getting the back straight, which you learn tricks for. I’m so not bothered by it at this point it is the only time I use selfie mode on my phone. Turn away from the sink mirror, selfie mode on and trim it carefully. Blend the top with scissors if needed, but really it isn’t often needed for my hair.

Edit: that said, if your are worried and you have a spouse, friend, family member, cleaning the back up only takes 2 minutes of their time.

Yeah I looked into migrating to earth but overall it didn’t seem like a great idea. Most of the world is rife with hatred of aliens and has a very much higher percentage of trafficking aliens than native peoples. They seem to be highly focused on competing against each other rather than helping their societys grow together. When was there last war, today… that number hasn’t changed in thousands of cycles. An atmospheric scan shows catestorfic changes making it inhabitable for many life forms on the planet and yet still while thousands of species have died off around them, the primary “intelligent” species ignores it while lying to their peers trying to swindle themselves into a better standing so they can think they are better than others while dooming near everything. Maybe I’ll go in after the next thaw in about 65,000 cycles.

Copy party works pretty well, I’ve liked it. That said I don’t have mine open to everyone, it requires a password for view/read/edit rights or whatnot, which you can easily divy out using a config file. (Not the most secure, but that’s because I haven’t put in any protections myself)

18-29, where do they get this biased claim from? I find it hard to believe people 7 years or so younger than me are trusting false data more than the large swaths of 65+ gobbling up misinformation about immigrants, drugs, etc. “Younger users are more active, more influential in their peer groups, and frankly, often less skeptical about what they’re seeing online.”
