I move my container workloads around sometimes whenever I decide a partucular machine should be prioritizing different tasks and the built in apps may not always be as portable. Not sure about synology but on truenas I often end up switching to the docker container when some random problem comes up. I’ve been considering trying out kubernetes because of how much migrating I do but the learning path seems a bit cursed. I do have a few computers doing nothing though.

I don’t think any compatible machines can be acquired in my region any more. The only one I saw semi recently had a revision a few years ago but no packaging or model change to match so you can’t verify if its the older model that works or the newer one that doesn’t.

Last time I watched a video on the computer was shrek with some ascii filter or something. This will surely be an improvement.

I have this feeling that even if valve makes it work, rootkit anticheat devs will push updates that intentionally make it not work again. Probably with more claims like the majority of cheaters being linux users
