My trick is I keep them in some sort of satchel with bungee cords etc in each vehicle but also keep a roll of blue painters tape that I use to put a wrap around each when I coil them up. It’s been a good system for the last 15 years
A good trick that I use as a first attempt on sink drains is a wet/dry vac. 99% of the time it works for sinks and shower/ tub drains.
Remove any grid strainer or pop-up that will be in the way if possible , put a wet rag over the tub overflow hole ( if applicable) and put the running shop vac hose over the drain and the clog will come out rather than going further down the line.

My favorite stud finder is the " stud buddy" . It’s two magnets wrapped in a torpedo shaped piece of yellow plastic. When a magnet hits the screw or nail and i let it go it hangs plumb. No batteries, no wondering if the damn thing is working right , it just works

Garner was a good human. Picked up complete set of Rockford files. Watched the reruns as a kid. Ran through all of them and I’ll rewatch it this winter. The reoccurring themes crack me up : always fires up a cig , rolling reverse 180° in the firebird to escape, gets beat up , beats somebody up, takes out a pretty lady for dinner, has trouble getting paid his $150 per day plus expenses.
The guy was a real race car driver , did a lot of driving in movies where other actors used substitutes. He was a genuine bad ass and all around solid cat.
The “support” movies were great.
