Tldr: I need a new heated vest/jacket (and accessories). Got any recommendation?

My Milwaukee electric hoodie recently died. I liked it for the warmth under my jacket, but I never loved it because it didn’t get that hot. Just kind of warmish. I can always swap batteries.

I live in a climate that often drops to sub zero (F) temps, and I’m often outside for multiple hours. I have a nice parka and a puffy jacket. But electric heat feels so great beneath.

I want some new heated gear. Primarily a hoodie or vest, but a good jacket, gloves, socks, etc., could be nice too.

Ideas?

You are a heater; a really good one. Better clothes will help you store and distribute that heat. If you aren’t wearing a wool base layer, it will be the single greatest change you can make.

It’s not better clothes, it’s more layers that does it. I live in CO and get so hot into the winter that I have to open the layers. I am not a big person.

Yeah it really is. But there are even synthetics that are sufficient here. I’m just saying a base layer is very helpful.
