And how would I stop paying taxes when it’s automatic?
For payroll tax you can pressure your employer and/or claim an election that’s smaller than is real. For sales tax, you can replace some purchases with barter (and refuse to buy other things).
“Hey HR, can I change my tax election to 0? Thanks!”

You need a probably reason to exempt your taxes. Otherwise you will owe the IRS an ass ton of money. I also don’t mind paying taxes as I use the library and postal services regularly

Well yeah. If you don’t pay them then you’d owe them, but so would millions of others.
Setting your withholding to zero means you’re claiming tax exempt status, which can only be done if you had no tax liability for the previous year.
