Today’s game is some more Project Zomboid. We decided to venture out of the safety of our milk store so one of my friend’s who is larping a fireman stripper could get some more Firemen gear. We took a roadtrip to Rosewood too the firestation there. What ended up happening was it got late (in game and irl), so we decided to hunker down in the Firestation and turn it into a safehouse.

While on boarding up the windows i got a little resistance from the local population, I got snuck up on namely. I managed to get everything nicely boarded up though, along with some spares if i ever need them.

The trip there wasn’t uneventful either though. We stopped for gas. I was in charge of getting the gas, While Cable (My character’s adopted 20 year old son) ran inside for snack. Meanwhile our fireman looked around for anything useful. He found a fire truck nearby and tried to open it, but it set off an alarm and alerted all the zombies. We needed the food so we had to fight them off and then keep the path clear to the car.

One of my friend’s also disconnected and died in the brief inbetween. I teleported him back because that was a BS death, but we had to stop and fight another microherd on the way there. The car started dying, and while i kept stuff to fix it in the trunk, I needed my friend’s to cover me while i installed it. The result was a mess. You can only see part the mess due to the fog, unfortunately, it was a massacre though. I’m lucky i stocked up on shotguns and shotgun shells.
After all that though we made it to town. Surprisingly town had little to no issues. I parked the car, we went inside, cleaned house. Then i brought the vehicles into the garage and started doing the aforementioned barricade. It makes for a cozy little safe house. Should anything happen to the milkstore, this might be where we fall back.

Yes it’s better in a group. Or at the very least just playing on a multiplayer server is better imo than single player. (At least until npcs are in)
