I don’t have a paper, much less a sheaf of papers, that would necessitate a clip.
That’s why the paper clips live in the junk drawer forever, instead of doing the job they were meant for!
Paper clips are totally useful, they make a quick antenna in a pinch, they can be bent into all sorts of other shapes to make random tools.
