    I use a loaded barbell. About 120kg holds me in place ok.

    I can’t really do them yet, mostly because I just haven’t acclimated to the movement. I think with some practice I’d be better at engaging the right muscles. I used an elastic strap as an assist and that ended with a bang! I should do them again. Just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it won’t be good for me to do.

    The grass looks pretty comfortable compared to my rubber on concrete.

      Yeah the grass quite good on knees. Much better than a folded up yoga matt on the gym floor.

      I can’t do a single curl either but I’m only doing negatives which is the case with my every other excercise as well. I’m trying out eccentric overload training.

        If you’ve got an old horse shoe pit in your yard like I still do, sand is probably a great place to do these.

        My old knees aren’t up for it though, too many years of semi-extreme skiing.
