It’s bulky and heavy until you finally give in and take it apart first. We’re making room for my son’s new train platform hobby.

        My buddy Mike was legit over from Ireland to finish his education

      He’s just begun expressing a real interest in building a layout together. HO is exciting to him so we’re going to try that. My family has quite a collection and they’re eager to share, which is really cool as some of the collection is older.

      One thing he’s decided on is no Olde Tyme stuff in the layout. The vehicles will be contemporary and the buildings modern. I’m nervous about the expense but psyched to help out!

        That’s so cool! I actually had a (pretty empty) modern HO layout as a kid as well and I really enjoyed it.

        It’s such a fun creative endeavor!
