Nice rack!
I tried this type of dish rack after I saw it on a meme on Reddit or something, and I had to return it within a week or two.
I felt that it hogs too much real estate on the kitchen, and makes it look more cluttered than it may be.
I hope it works out better for you, but if it don’t feel right, just return it because you have a beautiful set of windows that you won’t enjoy as much with the rack in front of them.
Did you get one with a drainage spout? Best thing ever.
This could use that, sort of, but only in the edges.
