The EU can’t extricate itself from Russian gas despite years of Russian aggression in Ukraine. How do you think they are going to do with U fucking S tech? 😱

How is US tech going to do without European money? It’s a two-way street. Things like GDPR, USB-C charging everywhere and other regulations have shown that the EU has plenty of influence.

One thing they could do right now… right now… is to set up legislation to mandate all government systems to run on Open Source operating systems and software that is owned and controlled by European small to mid size companies. Out right ban the use of US tech in government.

The migration might take time. But I’m saying simply legislate for this. Do you think they ever will? I doubt it.

USB charging is the worst example ever. Ever ever.

It took the EU something like 15 years and several laughable attempts until they somehow made it.
