  • Ah I see, that makes a lot of sense. I don’t really watch tv, I pull out my phone when I eat food. Or I’m studying on my laptop and youtube is easy when I take a break. I guess computers are so portable now it’s really easy for me to hop on youtube rather than pay subscriptions or find torrents and go through a show.

A lot of my work also involves just sight and some mental power so having youtube running on a second monitor where I can glance occasionally keeps me going much longer than I would otherwise.

  • Hey I don’t think anyone really needs content - it’s just something we like. As for what I like on there: Joe Scott, Andrew Huang, Ahoy, Philosophy Tube, Drew Gooden, Comicstorian, Drawfee, Hagerty, Engineering Explained, Throttle House, Tier Zoo, Foureyes Furniture, FUNKe, HiTop Films, In The Mix, Noodle, Internet Shaquille, LEMMiNO, Michael Reeves, MrMobile, Nakey Jakey, ReDriven, Not Just Bikes, Sarah-n-Tuned and I’m kinda tired of more names. But each of these is one of my great top tiers, and it’s so awesome that there’s this many (and more) people on there making great content. It’s okay to not want to engage in that though, I do get that.

  • I understand where you’re coming from, but I’ll still disagree that the commentator was using anything as evidence. It was merely used as a suggestion. ASD is a neurodevelopmental disorder and shows up through behaviour and it does not hurt to get tested. For example, I have MDD. If I describe a one-time occurrence of my symptoms, it’s easy to chalk it up to ordinary behaviour. The issue is that it is a persistent and repetitive behavior that doesn’t go away. The OP has replied and posted that other people in their life have suggested they get tested and they’re not surprised to hear this. That suggests persistent and repetitive behaviour that suggests neurodivergence. I will repeat that it does not hurt to get tested. If OP gets tested and is not on the spectrum, great. If they get tested and they are on the spectrum, also great, it’s probably better that they know.

  • Now I’m no Honda fangirl. The 1.5L is their least reliable engine in a while and they don’t offer a manual Civic below the Si, which is very underpowered and underspecced for its price. They also have removed Civic features to put them in the Integra instead of just making the Integra better. I also think the Integra is overpriced and Acura doesn’t make much else that appeals to me. The new Accord is a borefest and they killed the Accord manual by saying there’s no consumer demand when they decide how many get produced and they sold every one that was produced. The Honda E I agree should’ve been way cheaper and simpler.

After all of that still, to say Honda hasn’t made a good car in 20 years is completely bizarre and incorrect. I would so much rather be in a Civic or CR-V today than a Corolla or RAV4. Personally, I avoided both and got a VW GLI but that’s besides the point.
