Which Linux distro are you using? I’m also considering switching because of Windows 10 going EOL, but there are a lot to choose from.

Beside what Citizen Kong said, I wouldn’t start playing a game right after release. Give them a few weeks to iron out the bugs.
Firefox for Android has uBlock Origin (and lots of other useful extensions). You do need to set Firefox as the default app for YouTube links, but after that it works perfectly.
