  • So, I migrated to 5.x and I don’t know if it was just me, or a change in the WebUI or something, but Sonarr stopped wanting to pull files in. I’ve been holding out on the Sonarr upgrade because last I looked at it, it wouldn’t auto-migrate you over, etc.

But when I went to upgrade it - it said that now auto-migrates, and it does. However, the old migrated rules looked kinda dirty, so I was panicking a little. The imported/converted stuff all worked, mind you, I just didn’t like how they looked. In the end, I ended up really really liking the new Sonarr system, though I did have to ask an LLM how to format some new regex.

  • Which is great that we’re not talking about groups of people, but national lines on a map, cool how that works right?

They are under the jurisdiction of the Russian government, that makes them Russian. No matter if they’re from China, Africa, or Tim-buk-tu for all anyone fucking cares. Countries – are – not – people.

Racism requires you targetting – get this – a group of people based on their shared identity. None of these people have to have whatever identity you’re assuming they have, because they simply have to be…TADA – IN RUSSIA.

If I hopped over the border into Russia, I’d agree with not being able to access this stuff – Oh now, I’m being racist against myself! But hey, can’t logic someone out of a position that they didn’t logic themselves into in the first place.

  • Nowhere in their site does it say such a thing, and I think you’re interpreting it the way you want to believe it.

They simply say that people should have control over their information.

I agree. That’s why it should be built into the keyboard, and ONLY activated if the user opts-in. If they don’t, then they will be cutting off their nose, in order to spite their face.

Users will gladly contribute, so long as the path to contribution is the least painful it can be. Opting in via the keyboard app is the only reasonable route to do this; not via some website.

You’re welcome to read their beliefs here: https://futo.org/about/what-does-futo-believe/

We expect FUTO companies to have an honest relationship with their customers. Ideally revenue comes from customers paying directly for the services provided by the company. “The users are our product” revenue models such as those employed by Facebook and Google are prohibited.

If the data needed to help improve swipe accuracy goes to helping improve the product, and is not sold and used as a business model - then that is perfectly within reasonable use of the data as explained by their beliefs page.
