Crazy of they always seem to get away with ‘well we intended to hit Hamas’. Shouldn’t someone at some point start asking them to prove that?

Strong reaction from the Netherlands as well: “Meanwhile, a Dutch minister said she was not aware of any Trump orders to firms in the Netherlands, but warned that similar orders targeting Europe create “more uncertainty” for them.” /sarcasm
Nice thanks.
If you want you can add it to a post with
like this:
Once I replied to a meme and got 10 people replying with hateful things, downvoting my replies, nobody had my back did’nt understand why. Turned out the meme I replied to was posted in a communist instance and the anti-us sentiment wasn’t really a joke. At some point a mod blocked me from replying so I blocked the instance and never looked back. If I see a user or community from specific instances I think twice before I reply. 99% of the time I feel free to say whatever I want, so I don’t really care about the parts of lemmy where I’m not. I’ve seen plenty of passionate and caring people in the 2-3 weeks since I registered, so don’t know how you’ve missed them so far. They’re here though.
100%
Same here in The Netherlands, most reporting is on how many long COVID patients are (still) getting benefits.
Actual headline of the article: Milei, Musk and Maga: Is Argentina influencing the US?
I agree this is a problem.
You’re right, but the referendum wouldn’t be about which action the voters want the Hungarian governmentment to take it would be about which action they want the EU to take. A government shouldn’t be able to sabotage the wellbeing of it’s people against their will. The EU should be there for the people, not it’s government.
Wow, there might be more Tesla’s put of fire than there are Russians that fell out of a window now.
I disagree, he’s not still in power because he fairly won free elections time and again. The Hungarian democracy is broken, especially because the media and legal system are compromised. There is plenty of people wanting Hungary to be a democratic country part of the EU. The same goes for Serbia, where massive protests are showing that more clearly at the moment.
Emotionally I agree, rationally I think I’d set a bad precedent if we give up on the Hungarians as people because we’re fed up with the actions of their government. Would be more fair to have some kind of referendum: stay in EU and ditch Orban vs leave the EU and keep Orban
Will they refresh palastine in the good way or the bad way?
I read this earlier today, I am getting more upset by Israel each day while I have been thinking I’ve been at some maximum level of anger and sadness about the situation of the palastinans. Ive known Netanyahu is evil for a while now but so many Israeli are at is side I’m really starting to hate them.
The day is much shorter in the middle winter, so it never was about daylight being left after work. I agree if there is less than 8 hours of daylight and you work 8 hours or more in a factory or an office it doesn’t matter much which hours are dark and which aren’t.
I’m all for aligning life with the rhythm of nature and all, but I don’t see how that’d work in current times.
Well if you pick permanent summer time it’s gonna be light hella late in winter so you might not know it but it might matter much to you. Although I don’t know you and maybe it truly wouldnt matter to you
Nice
