I remember the main dev of Mull saying it can be done on about:config but you need to disable something else, maybe you can find it on the project repo

We have a Shield Pro and unfortunately flashing wasn’t an option of us. What we did was start using an “alternative” launcher called Projectivy and installing apps outside the Play store.
Casting isn’t possible too, we simply learned to live without it. It seems you can use it on Kodi but I never really tried.
Unfortunately Proton Calendar and Proton Drive aren’t available on Github so I will still need to update manually if I don’t want to use the Play store :( I already put a few apps on it though
On Mobile I use Firefox Nightly but it is a pain. It crashes all the god damn time. I don’t know how y’all do it, Mull is the same thing because of the upstream. I sometimes consider using Vanadium but I ain’t pissed enough yet, I think.
On Desktop, Librewolf for mostly everything that I can manage work with it, what doesn’t I open whatever other browser that’s available.
For music I am currently using Tempo with a Navidrome server. It allows you to download specific songs to listen to them locally or I can listen to everything if I connect through Tailscale.
Also, I highly recommend Catima if you want to carry loyalty cards and things like that.
Why is that a bad thing?

Thank you so much! I recently changed my Proton apps to the apks and I was wondering how to keep them updated.
Someone linked the thread from Phoronix forum and the comments are so awful. Imagine having to deal with people like this.
One of them reads:
We need Microsoft people like we need fleas. Why can’t they work for projects we don’t like, like GNOME?
It is funny because Ts’o works at Google, lol.
They were already maintaining a fork of it though?
So Google Duo was replaced by Meet because of Cisco’s trademark? One can just go and trademark all numbers?
I don’t think that’s how rules for naming things work
No. They have a family plan which is way more expensive than two people paying for two separate individual plans.
Well glory to the private trackers, I guess. You need to have people seeding for torrents to work. I really believe this might kill public trackers if it gets too popular.
People that really want convenience just pay for streaming services. Stremio has a shitty transferrate and even with 1GB internet you aren’t able to watch anything 4k, for example.
I can’t relate with the complait about setting up jellyfin/VPN, that’s something you only need to do once. Theorically Stremio would also need a VPN because it is getting it from a torrent, no? Just get stuff you need in advance and you won’t have to wait and will get to watch something HQ if you have the setup to do so.
I also don’t know/care about debrid so I can’t comment on it. Isn’t it direct download?
Stremio is a parasite. They are “legal” because the app itself doesn’t contain anything illegal, you have to add the plugins on the side. It is just awful because it just leeches from torrents and don’t seed anything.
We’re just self hosting our stuff and using Jellyseer, it’s convenient and we can just forget stuff seeding as long as we can
Are you ok
