One thing i’ll say about sekiro is that it demands you learn “the dance”. You need to play the game on its terms and learn the rhythms, essentially you just need to “git gud” but it is absolutely worth it once it clicks. Its an incredible game once you finally get a feel for it.
these are my favourite games, thats why I put them in the second comment I realize they’re a little on the more difficult side. My bad I didn’t clarify.
ya thats fair
Ya I’m a big single-player story-driven player. Other recommendations are red dead 2 (never played 1, I’d like to), lies of P, sekiro, elden ring, bloodborne, uncharted series, death stranding (I love this game but completely get why people bounce off it), alan wake 2 (also not for everyone), control, and I’ll always have a soft spot for halo 1-3+reach. Theres probably a bunch more i’m forgetting but I loved all of those games. I just love a really good story.
mass effect, cyberpunk, clair obscur, baldur’s gate 3 all super fun and have difficulty options. Doom is pretty fun too. I’ve just been ripping through game pass single-player campaigns and RPGs.
I wanted to be a doctor really bad but in canada its basically a lottery system. My fiance had a 97 average, did well on her tests and basically lived her whole life in prep for med school and never got in, I have friends doing their PHDs on their fifth attempt, so seeing this I never even bothered. I did get into med lab which has been really fun, I now have 10 years in research/histopathology and have had an incredibly rewarding career in a field that I love, you just pivot and move on.
Honestly I wish I’d gone into finance/trading and done something I hate to make a shitload of money and just enjoy my free time but I’ve only got one life and I’ve already min/maxed my skill points so I’m in it for the long haul. Overall I’m happy with all my choices.
USA to Canada: mandatory 5% military spending, move all your business to the states, deal with our tariffs, buy our jets and golden dome. Canada: sure man, whatever -signs European defence pact.
me too, thanks.
if those steps are so spanish the why are they in rome?
I could end the conflict right now and go to my son’s wedding BUT probably lose the next election and go to prison… OR I could keep it going, make the entire planet a worse place but stay out of prison, keep leading the party and not go to the wedding…
I like Honda, you can drive those cars into the ground, they just keep going.
Honestly thats another reason. I know how hard I’ve worked to get a decent life and I can only see it getting harder. It feels like it costs $300/day just to exist, I can’t do that to another person.
Life is just too hard, I can’t even get a dog because I’m so busy/exhausted all the time, the thought of caring for a child is just too much. Hard pass, I’ve only got one life and I’d rather live it on my terms.
oboe, cello, violin…
I’m trying to work things out but I swear its a generational “kids these days” thing. Its a science field with lots of interpretation, judgement, problem solving and troubleshooting too so critical thinking is really important.
Swimming, it’ll save your life
This grinds my gears super hard. I’ve had a few new hires come through and they can’t do anything unless someone tells them to do something or if its written out step by step. Absolutely no critical thinking, curiosity or even basic understanding of why we’re doing what we’re doing, the job might as well be severance lol. I have no idea whats going on, they interviewed well, had relevant experience and can do the basics but as soon as we have to troubleshoot or use our brains they just go dear in the headlights. Its something thats difficult to train.
mine has said that all the ink is critically low and I’ve just ignored it for the past few months and it just keeps going.
almost everywhere I’ve vacationed. Galapagos, southeast asia, scottland… Traveling is the best.
