Uh no I’m a linux user and i know the anti cheats that do support linux do basically nothing since any root process can hook in. If majority of gamers were on linux multiplayer games would be unplayable.

Anti cheat is always a Cat and mouse solution not just on the client side and that doesnt mean its bad and cat and mouse solutions do still reduce cheaters.

Good server side anti cheat is a perfect ideal solution, its never existed and I don’t think it will exist.

I’m aware but games and players still want a strong anti cheating solution. There is no protection currently on linux for cheating.

This paper was published a few years ago. I remember reading through it because it sounded very scary. In its current state I dont think it crosses any ethical bounds as its less than 30days old with no lived experience or consciousness. The ethical line should probably follow whatever the abortion debate defines consciousness as. Which I think is 30 weeks

It did spark a few ethics papers on the topic which turned out to be a horrible dry boring reads with seemingly no consensus.

Probably over 6 figures a year. The running costs are super low and they still get a good bit of use. They are way better at aggregating than PH. Oh just sucks at tagging and filtering and its categories are shit. The content is also low these days.

It does nothing and has been broken for a long time. It can be used for hotkeys but there are none that I use. I only want it to open the start menu. Yes i know I can easily bind it in KDE plasma hotkey menu but i havent gotten around to it yet.

Nah they have one for checking passwords in breaches. The only password manager they have is the one built into Firefox and thats great but i want one for my phone when i log into apps.

This is so sick. I wish the console was more powerful and didnt rely on fsr for 4k preformance. I’d love to get my hands on that vr headset.

You can use bin packages and compile certain things where you’ll get preformance. It would be good to have a kernel optimised for that hardware cause you need everything you can get.

You could compile on another PC and but you’d miss the -native optimisation.

For my Chromebook I did a bin kernel then compiled everything else and did bin Firefox. I tried compiling the kernel but ran out of disk space cause only 10 gb of space available.
