Iran started that fight the moment they had their Islamic revolution and started funding militias to fight against Israel.
They were allies up until that revolution in Iran.
Why does everyone think Israel started that beef?
Iran started that fight the moment they had their Islamic revolution and started funding militias to fight against Israel.
They were allies up until that revolution in Iran.
Why does everyone think Israel started that beef?
And so you’re okay with a genocide against them instead?
Great logic there.
Not really what?
If the US government drops support for Israel, it’s going to get attacked by Iran.
Iran has stated this publically, and it’s not some idle threat, they’ve been attacking Israel even with the support in place.
If you think that the US population is mad about Palestinians dying in gaza, just wait to see how upset they will get when the people dying are white and being killed by an Islamic state invading.
The reason the adults from the 40s supported Israel is because… That’s when it got invaded by multiple Islamic states.
Sure.
The question is, what are the general public going to feel and demand when the countries who hate Israel attack it and start killing large numbers of civilians.
Because the last time that happened, it resulted in the current support for Israel.
It’s like people forget history.
Shakes magic 8-ball
“My sources say no”
History always repeats itself.
Things get bad, then they get REALLY bad, then usually violence solves it and things get good again.
Is it really a tragedy when you harm yourself or you own family through you own stupidity?
It’s a tragedy for the child, and their friends, but I wouldn’t say it’s a tragedy for the parents.
I would actually say it’s real estate costs that prevent this over here. Those keep business prices up and also make people have to work more.
A local pub.
But cheap enough that people can hang out there for an hour or two most days without going broke.
Theres something to be said for the real world.
A) There’s no way it’s just about the commute if the parents are asking about it. Figure out the real motive(s), could be something simply like money for the family, but could be something more complex like problems at home. Get to the bottom of the request before even considering it.
B) High-school romances are sketchy at the best of times, nobody involved has learned to be responsible yet. The chances of this going poorly are high. There’s a huge difference between sleeping over sometimes and becoming a member of the household where chores and noise and other stressors exist.
Personally, I’d be inclined to say no unless there’s some sort of bad situation going on where she is. If she is going hungry at home due to lack of resources or something, I’d figure out some options. It doesn’t sound like neglect or abuse based on the parents asking you, but maybe?
You could always just work out something a bit more regular in terms of sleepovers for school nights, but making sure she gets some time with her family too.
And make sure condoms are easily available to your son.
It’s not objectively correct.
If you do this between English and Japanese, Japanese people will not understand the way you pronounced the English word.
If you ask a Japanese person if they own a “computer” they will not understand. You have to call it a “con-puuu-ta” or even “pa-so-con” which is personal computer.
McDonald’s… Nope. “ma ku do nal do” or even just “makku” depending on the region.
Don’t forget that scooters are also popular these days, both electric and non-electric. They need less infrastructure and are cheaper than bikes, but please wear a fucking helmet. Roller blades depending on the surface or even Skateboarding can also be used to cut the time/effort.
Do you happen to have any references? I’d like to read the study/information where you found that data, it actually sounds pretty interesting.
Orna, it’s a gps game like pokemon go but it’s a standard kill monsters get loot mmoRPG.
It does have MTX, but I’ve never bought any and I’m still enjoying myself. It doesn’t significantly limit you for not spending like some games.
Canadian here, from the wet coast. I’ve run in the rain before, but it needs to be monsoon level before that’s necessary. Anything less is just meh.
I have a couple Tapo cameras set up with HA, I had to use the tapo app initially to set up but once they’re set up you can ditch it and run the system entirely locally. I saw someone had a way to configure them locally too, but it wasn’t simple enough for me to bother and I was fine with the one time step.
Anything someone signs is only worth what can be enforced. Nobody can enforce the situation here against the countries that have chosen to be involved, so having that is worthless.
A bunch of big countries commit war crimes pretty regularly too, the US, Russia, even Ukraine, definitely China… India killer a Canadian on Canadian soil not too long ago for political reasons.
If there’s no enforcement, rules are worthless.
Iran and their supporters?
I mean… Like with most things, just follow the money.
Hamas is not buying and building their own weapons, Palestinians are dirt poor. Where’s the money and weapons coming from?
We all know the west is dumping money into Israel.
This is how you understand modern geopolitical situations.
The situation is far more complicated than anyone is saying out loud.
Most people don’t understand the geopolitical ramifications of Palestine existing, or weakening Israel.
This whole thing is a global proxy war between the west and a bunch of middle eastern countries. Even China has its own involvement on the side of the middle eastern group, though behind the scenes rather than overt.
Unfortunately it’s almost entirely a one sided genocide of the Palestinian people as a result.
The whole recognition of Palestine at this point is mostly just to stem the anger of the general populations in Western countries, but it will also allow these countries to keep supporting Israel behind the scenes in order to keep a lid on the middle eastern powers.
Israel was created as a state by the UN after the other people who lived in that region (Formerly the Ottoman Empire) fought for the Axis and lost in the world wars.
There were other territories that were also carved up and handed to other countries, and you don’t see the same issues there because their neighbors didn’t invade them because they were unhappy with the borders drawn by the UN.
Israel has quite literally been under attack by multiple other countries since it was created.
