I enjoyed Chip Cheezum and General Ironicus’ playthroughs of the Metal Gear Solid series back in the day, and their 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand playthrough was good. Oh, and the Uncharted series. Chip is very thorough. They’re still putting stuff out to this day.

Also, I know they’re all dated now, but I still miss Super Best Friends Plays and go back and rewatch their stuff now and then.

All games I had no interest in playing myself, but wanted to know what they were about.

The physics and force feedback is so good in that game right now. It’s the only driving sim I actually feel fear in. Especially in VR.

That seems optimistic, but I’ll take it.

I play beam.ng and try not to crash.

Well there’s a big question, but I’ll try to be brief. I’ve got a shelf full of DVDs and a folder on my PC with many gigabytes worth.

Billy Connolly is an all-time favourite from my early years of random. Seen him 3 times. Stewart Lee, Maria Bamford (saw her live last year), Sarah Millican, Doug Stanhope, Bill Bailey*, Dylan Moran, The Umbilical Brothers*, Lano and Woodley* are all great. (* Also seen live)

Some lesser known more recent comics I’ve discovered from the stand-up comedy subreddit are Chris Higgins, Django Gold, and Mike Baldwin. They’re all pretty unique and great.

This list could be ten times longer.

800 Pound Gorilla and Dry Bar Comedy are a couple of good YouTube channels for discovering new comics.

For long weird funny stories, I recommend Shayne Smith. He just put up a full show on the Dry Bar Comedy YouTube channel.

Love it. It’s one of my favourite forms of entertainment and pretty much the only thing I’ll go see live these days. Been a fan since the early eighties.

The soundtrack for ‘The Catherine Wheel’ that Byrne did around the same time is pretty out there as well. ‘The Red House’ in particular blows me away with what he did with 1981 technology.

Destructible buildings like in Red Faction: Guerilla.

I reckon the key to a good sense of humour is to be able to laugh at yourself.

My Life In The Bush of Ghosts by David Byrne and Brian Eno.

Same here, although I did play the first couple of levels. I found it kind of boring.

Got my three remaining wisdom teeth out last week. It’s been quite a few years since I could chew without biting the inside of my cheek. Being able to chew properly is a highly underrated ability.

And yet it still probably won’t release on PC simultaneously with consoles.
