It is better for the planet, its better for mental health, better for diversity, accessibility, open information, its better in every way but the fact people won’t move. the argument of “well people aren’t there so im not even going to try” is frustrating because it abstracts the blame of lack of users to the platform instead of the individuals who are refusing to even try.
