I’ve noticed that the issues above are becoming increasingly notorious across the entirety of the Fediverse. What’s being done to mititage those issues?
You can make content un-scrape-able on Hubzilla. This has always been possible.
However, this requires you to restrict your post to a certain audience as opposed to posting in public. Just about everything outside of Hubzilla, (streams) and Forte will understand your posts as DMs.
If you don’t trust ActivityPub-based software, you can go another step further and turn ActivityPub off or refrain from turning it on in the first place. Downside: You can only connect to Hubzilla and (streams). And diaspora*, Friendica and Socialhome if you have diaspora* on. But you can’t connect to Lemmy, PieFed, Mastodon etc. anymore.
