Yes i’ve delved into this a bit since i heard of it, it is as if these people read science fiction and completely missed the points. Or, and more likely, they are evil, know they are evil, and thus like being the villain. These idiotic ideas were always doomed to fail. I know we are still knee-deep in fascism in the US but it is pretty clear Donald Trump’s total and complete fascist takeover was always doomed to fail spectacularly. The idea that they could actually carry this out just shows these tech elites are living in such utter isolated delusional bubbles that they actually think they could pull this off.

This is why journalism is so important. We need to know what these people are doing. Keep your eye on your enemy.
