I’ve noticed that there seems to be an emphasis on being extremely serious at all times, as if every single comment is a PhD dissertation being evaluated or something. There’s like this weird, subtle one upmanship about every little thing and a lot of people are very nitpicky and judgmental. It kind of takes the fun out of being on here, TBH. Or am I the only one experiencing this?

It’s actually a relief that you saw it as well. Makes me feel not so crazy for being targeted like that!

My outspoken nature draws the ire of immature men unfortunately.

        Thank you for noticing <3

One thing I kind of hate is the abuse of the voting system, I kind of miss slashdot for its enforcement of a justified moderation for voting on a comment.

So it’s annoying, but sometimes I just go around counteracting user-targeted revenge downvotes, even if I don’t totally agree with the comment. It feels like being the janitor.

Yeah because if I remember, the comments they removed weren’t bad at all. You’re not crazy, some people are just so damn fragile.
