Don’t a lot of abused children become abusers themselves? I’m not justifying it, but it seems to that it’s the result of inter generational trauma. Not just centuries of oppression and pogroms, not just the Nazi holocaust, but a lot of Israelis came directly from places in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe that were brutally oppressive.

Look up the Havara Agreement. Look up what they did in Palestine right after Palestine accepted them.
