      I’ve been on fedi for 2.5 years. the past six months have seen a huge uptick in activity from my experience.

      a year ago posts were rarely seeing 100s of comments. now dozens of posts per day are getting that.

      i’ve also seen a ton more spam, AI content, and bot activity.

        LGBTQ youth who live in a community that is accepting of LGBTQ people reported significantly lower rates of attempting suicide than those who do not.

        I don’t think the data plays this out.

        https://lemmy.fediverse.observer/stats Lemmy has fallen by 10k in a year. Of course Piefed has increased it by about 6k, so it’s a net decline of about 4-5k.

          that’s users. that’s not the volume of what they are posting. those are two entirely different metrics
