U.S. trade officials are signalling that Canada will need to make policy changes if it wants long-term certainty under the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) when the pact comes up for mandatory review next year.
Why should we bend to the will of Nazi’s? I don’t want to help them exploit us !
I recently switched from hellofresh to goodfood as I learned goodfood is Canadian, I wanted to quit hellofresh lately especially with the deregulation of the FDA and also just not wanting to be buying american shit.
I don’t trust anything that comes from the States anymore.
I moved from the US to Canada. One of the biggest differences between the two I’ve noticed is the food. Not only is Canadian food fantastic, American food is straight up poison.
To give two examples, compare US and Canadian Heinz ketchup and froot loops. Canadian Heinz tastes sooooo much better, it doesn’t have a weird aftertaste from the corn syrup. Canadian froot loops are paler in color since they use natural colors, and they also taste way better as a result. Fresh products like produce and meat are also superior up here
Edit: also, traditional Canadian treats are delicious
Good to know.
Quality of food is so important to a nation but I’m guessing pretty hard to nail down. It would make a great economic index if done right.
We’re good, thanks. - Canada
