    Honestly any kind of gender-motivated hate murder should be punished but from my point of view isn’t the biggest issue the murder part? If you’re already sentencing someone for an intentional murder wouldn’t they be ideally getting something resembling a maximum sentence? In which case would the specific motive really make a huge difference in punishment? I’m just trying to understand why this is a big deal when the starting point is already murder.

      No, there are many cases and conditions that can change the final sentence, which can be, but not always is, the life sentence (26 years in italy or 21 with “good behavior”).

      I’m not an expert though so for better informations you should research it yourself.
