Acapella lets me just outright buy a voice and download it for offline use but the voices are somewhat dated now. I don’t mind large on device library and I don’t mind paying once, but I want it to sound good and I want it to work 100% offline (and privately). Also would like a male voice if possible, I know most people seem to prefer female voices I guess, I’ve noticed male ones are harder to find.

      Flawless speech(stumbles on numbered bullet points a bit)

      Try the southern_English_male_medium for a starter voice(in the Piper models)

      After you download a model, turn off Network Permissions for a completely offline TTS.

      For me with the high models it takes like 20-30 second pauses and if the text is long enough then it just stops completely.
