    it’s an interesting write-up, i gotta study it in more detail later on, but i gotta go now, have something to do today.

    to summarize my response: it’s good that whatever you did helped you, but i suspect that your method of approaching life cannot simply be generalized to other people, i.e. it wouldn’t work that way if other people tried the same thing.

    but i’ll probably write a more elaborate response later :D

      I mean most of this came from my own interests rather than actual scripture. It just clicks in my head because it seems obvious. What doesn’t apply is my assumption that others can understand simplicity, hence why my responses are in depth.

      Fasting is done routinely as a dopamine reset and allows you to realign your interests agnostic of chemical influence. Driven by sheer self. This is in islam, variances of these fasts exists in all religions as you give up indulgences to remember your humanity and not your wants.

      I once heard a therapist say the best way to check if you have a weed problem is to stop for 2 months. If you can or can’t, then you know. It’s true of most things.
