IronFox is Firefox ESR-based, completely de-Googled, has zero telemetry, and comes pre-hardened for privacy.
IronFox is a fork of Divested Computing Group’s Mull Browser, based on Mozilla Firefox. Our goal is to continue the legacy of Mull by providing a free and open source, privacy and security-oriented web browser for daily use.
Version IronFox v140.0.4 released, .apk available for download here.
More discussion about the browser here.
Unfortunately, not available in FDroid yet.
- You actually can get this on fdroid, but you have to add the repository manually. Instructions are here in the readme - Obtainium is better. You can use every source. And also do auto-updates via shizuku. Or rooted shizuku. Or just directly root.

- It’s available on Accrescent. - I found it broke too many websites for my taste.
- used it for a while but something recently made it too slow to use. websites take around 10 seconds to load, when on fennec they open up almost instantly… - Same for me. Recently changed phones and used Ironfox initially. But with issues like you described I had to change to at least Fennec. I’ve had loading issues and theming issues with Waterfox; same with Ironfox when I think about it. 🤔
