Accounting for the metropolitan area population, Mexico City is the fifth largest city in the world. If your business can’t survive without tourists in that environment, something is wrong with the business, not the lack of tourism.
Mass tourism is a cancer that needs to be irradiated from any proper city. That shit brings very little money, and mobs of unruly, uneducated dimwits that think they own someone’s soul because they spent €5 on a couple of the cheapest drinks on the menu.

I mean… if you live there do you really need a hotel? There are lots of businesses that cater specifically to tourists.
