One person who is responsible for some of the stuff said they didn’t have anything to discuss. The person who runs the meeting said the same. The meeting was called the shortest meeting we’ve ever had and I’m free to keep posting on Lemmy rather than having to listen half-heartedly in case anyone needed my input (they never do).

What godless moron decided that a standing meeting every 12 hours was a good idea?! People like that are busy doing the opposite of working - they are hindering everyone from working!

More often than not, I’d agree with you - though it is quite handy for catching up on what’s been happening while I’ve been elsewhere or asleep before a nightshift.

It is entertaining to see what rumours are going around though, finding out who’s made a real James Hunt of a ticket so nobody makes the same colossal clusterfuck of a job twice, and hearing who’s moving where in the organisation though.

If they stopped doing them tomorrow though, I wouldn’t miss them.
