I’m in Canada, and it seems like all bike multi-tool brands are American. I thought Lezyne was from Europe, but nope, American.
Park tool, crankbrothers, Silca, Blackburn… All American.
Are there any European made, or even European brands of multitools for bikes?
I think Topeak might be a European brand, so that could work.
EDIT: Found one! Unior has an entire line of regular tools, and bike tools. Made in Europe (EU) and I can get them in Canada. https://uniortools.com/eng/category/940477/multitools
EDIT 2: wow, they really make everything! They could easily replace all Park Tool tools. I wish I found this brand sooner!
I like the pb swiss pb 470.
Unior is solid and european, Topeak and Birzman are from Taiwan I think. SKS from Germany but their core products are fender and pumps. Shimano PRO also has some good tools. I tend to avoid BBB. In Europe we have Decathlon with incredible value, but I don’t think they are present in Canada?

I’m currently looking at their tools. They seem to be easily available from one place that I order stuff from.

I read conflicting info on Topeak, but they do appear to be a Taiwanese company who manufacturers there, too. I’m fine with that if I need to go with them.
I’m very familiar with SKS, and you’re right, fenders tend to be their main product (here).

Yes, we do! My gravel bike is from Decathlon, and I agree that they offer excellent value. I didn’t consider them for tools, as most of their products are made in Asia, but I can certainly look if nothing else comes up.
For now, I think Unior is the best bet, especially if you’re looking at alternatives to Park Tool products.
There are a few references for tools here: https://lemmy.ca/post/41502109?scrollToComments=true
Thank you, but bike multi-tools are fairly specialized and don’t usually belong to traditional tool brands 🙁
Oh okay, I wasn’t aware. 😕
You can maybe try to crosspost to !buyeuropean@feddit.uk to get a wider reach?
Looking on Dutch and German webshops, I’ve found BBB Cycling and Trivio are Dutch brands selling (multi)tools. Sigma and SKS GERMANY are German.
No idea if they’re any good, though :p
