Nice. Thanks.

Nice. Thanks.

I appreciate this and thank you for your solid advice.

Weirdly, I stopped shaving for the last 2 months to see if my beard will finally grow. Its working.
That being said, yeah, Native Deo was ok, but did not last. I am concerned about BO, so yeah, this will take some doing.
Not quite close to a Farmers Market, but I need to actually look through. I did however see bars of soap from Australia in Goodwill, but those seemed sketchy.

Nice. These look interesting. I do samples all the time, for colognes, but did not know about the ones you shared. Thanks.

Looks good. How do you feel about the ingredients? I’ve become very conscious lately.

Such is life. The hardest part, and something I’m still actively unlearning, is how we were taught to eat in boarding school. You had under three minutes to finish your meal. If you didn’t, you threw it away. It was crappy barely cooked food. It was a terrible way to live. That was what my 4 years of high school taught me.
Years later, I was having lunch with my niece and nephews when one of them commented, “Look, Uncle eats like those guys in prison.” It stung, because it was true. And honestly, the time limit was only part of it. The worse lesson was that if you didn’t eat fast enough, bullies would finish first and grab your plate. So you learned to eat quickly while keeping your head up, always watching your back.

I grew up in a dictatorship. Because of shortage of nice things, we became ABC eaters. Best for last. My ex pointed it out one day. So if we got frenchfries and a sausage, french fries first, sausage last and the sausage was considered the best so it was always last. Over 4 decades later, its french fries, salad, then the burger.

Yes. Start one. The biggest benefit of having different subs back over at u/fuckspez dumpsterland was the independence to create whatever you or anyone wanted. We are here because we believed even more different and have the right to choose whatever we want. Since politics and ai are not welcome here, doesn’t mean there isn’t a crowd for it. Go for it.

Yes. I run Debian with a bunch of Gnome and KDE applications on XFCE4. UI looks weird sometimes, but it works as well as I expect.

PMing you.

I do. PMing you the details.

I host Nextcloud with various options on terms of storage and CPU.

Works great.
I sell managed services and this is one of the things I offer. Its a fire and forget sort of system. However, your experience with managing the back end stuff, updates etc will really matter cause if it goes sideways, you have to know how to debug. That is pretty much what I do.

The Tswana (people from Botswana) rarely travel. When I lived there, the government used to have massive drives to get people to apply for passports. It rarely worked. So this is a non-issue and arbitrary or either a badly scripted effort to do work on behalf of some diamond dealer. Nonetheless, the Tswana, more interested in partying than visiting USA will be unbothered. Also, there is a base involved and the EFF (volatile South African political party) have been pushing for it to be removed. This is just giving it impetus.
Freedom. 24 years ago, I figured that there had to be something different that I could customize. I had experimented with BeOS but then I came across Gentoo, and Linux in general. I crushed and burned many times experimenting with Slackware, SuSE (and later OpenSuSE), as well as Mandrake, but Debian became my thing. I did some time with Solus, but I’m a Debian guy. Netboot, put it together as I want, and what not.
Give shit, take shit, have a laugh about it.
Interest groups. Hobbies. Travel. Volunteers. Book clubs. That sort of thing. Cast your net wide enough and you are sure to get someone.

For many years, yes, but, to see that person reach out, apologize, amends and even support me in difficulty changed that perspective. Forgiveness played a major role in healing.
I’m sure the make fantastic products and my brother in law swears by this, but somehow it’s never felt right for me. I should take the bias out and try this some day. Thanks.
