Congrats on making an app!

For medals. Lmao these losers.
You know the shits were prolly looking like this
DDR6? What? Didn’t DDR5 just start becoming common?
People don’t trust Microsoft to honor their promises. Hmm, I wonder why… 🤔
Oh look it’s Cortana 2
Other point the maintainers raised is the possibility that GenAI code violates the GPL license.
It’s a good concern to have, and one I feel people don’t talk about enough.
Looking a bit further into it, a bug report on the GZDoom GitHub page titled “Project management” was opened that gave a little more detail noting issues with the lead of GZDoom pushing untested code, using an LLM to write code and hiding “not insignificant changes in commits, which has people worried that you’ll randomly rip out features that they rely on”. In reply, the project lead simply said “Feel free to fork the project under a” (yes, that really all they said).
A later comment before the bug report was locked points out the specific change in GZDoom that was made with ChatGPT.
Lately it feels like GenAI is gonna push FOSS projects and its maintainers to the breaking point. So much for this great future every AI vendor promised us 🙄
pretty easy to install (i would argue, even more easy than many mainstream distributions)
Last I poked at it, it had no Live environment. I really how it got so popular if people can’t even try it before wiping their machine. VMs?
This is so sick, thank you!
Whenever I go incognito on desktop I see the new design, not a fan.
They say its “obscuring less content” yet the buttons are 2x bigger, I don’t get it.
PS: Great, it just rolled out to my main account. Blergh 👎
RogueJack21.
Basically Slay the Spire meets Black Jack. Very fun, the UI is great and the animations are super smooth.
Skate Story.
Skating game with insanely trippy visuals, great music, runs super smooth even on my aging PC.
FEED MY MECH.
Iron Lung meets the Resource management/Task juggling of FNAF. Descend thousands of feet into an abandoned underground colony in your Mech and retrieve what’s left. Beware your surroundings.
Time Snatcher Handy.
Roguelike bullet hell where you can freeze time at will, but only for 60 seconds. These seconds serve both as your health and currency, so you gotta be really careful with how you utilize it.
The lack of controllers is the biggest impediment to these “Homemade VR” projects.
You might as well slap your phone in a Cardboard VR and use ALVR, and you’ll be surprised at how convincing it is, but you’ll quickly find there aren’t many VR games worth playing with the standard gamepad.
Above all, I think the real problem here is that when people hear “Xbox is failing” they think “No wonder” instead of “What happened?”
I should point out that even though Limewire used to be a “legit” business, the current interation is little more than crypto grifters using a nostalgic brand to prop up their tokens, and they’ve already been doing shady shit like taking over snapdrop.net (previously local network file sharing) with little to no warning to the end users. They’re in many blocklists for a reason, y’know.
For more information, please check out the “Name reuse by unrelated companies” section of their Wikipedia page.
Stuff like this is why Google wants to restrict sideloading to “verified developers” only.
Even if an app like this isn’t distributed through Google Play, they could disable the developer’s account for any vague “abuse” reason.
It’s the indexers. I’ve had many day 1 releases from them that were perfectly fine.
What to use for Calendar and Contacts management?
Yes I know about Radicale, I’m talking desktop UI wise because fuck doing any substantial event organizing on a phone.
but we’re trying to reinforce by adding more value to these plans as well."
Fortnite Crew and Ubisoft+ Classics
So if you don’t play Fortnite and aren’t interested in 15 different Assassin’s Creed titles, fuck you I guess
Specifically for Syncthing, there’s Syncthing Tray. It’ll put a little icon on your icon tray (or since you’re on KDE you can use the Plasmoid and put it wherever you want) and you can configure it to change colors depending on the status of Syncthing, send notifications when it finishes a sync or can’t connect, see a detailed view of the sync status and the folders, etc.
It’s very customizable, I’ve been using it for a while. Check it out!
