Oh I got a home server setup with Jellyfin and a bunch of media already, just need to figure out the Live TV stuff (for live news, some soap operas, stuff that doesn’t get torrented much) for it to be 100% complete :)

When watching over-the-air television, I mute the TV and look away when ads come on.
You can show me all the ads in the world but you sure as fuck can’t force me to engage.
God help those fuckers when I finally fall down the TV Tuner + Jellyfin + TVHeadend rabbithole. I’m gonna “Live Pause” that shit or I’m gonna straight up DVR everything I wanna watch and skip the ads.
And my parents watch much more OTA TV than me so you bet your ass I’m setting up every TV in their house with a cheap trustable Android TV stick and teaching them how to Pause, Rewind and Fast Forward. Fuck ads foreverrrrrr.

My next computer will be a bag of LSD and YouTube Longplays.
Okay, so far so good.
Looks like the yellow painted fuck didn’t ruin it.
That’s so sick.
So this and the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate are currently the only tri-fold devices out
For a gnome-pie replacement, try Kando
I was gonna say this could be a way to make account sharing more annoying, so say if you go to a friend’s house and you gotta fiddle to log in with the remote instead of picking up your phone and starting a cast they might be motivated to get their own subscription.
But it seems you can still log into an account by scanning a QR Code, so… ehh???
I could do something simple like a NUC or equivalent and a tiny NAS
Literally me rn. A tiny second-hand Dell Optiplex with a 8th gen i3 and a 2TB SSD.
Maybe not the most future thinking solution since it can only fit 2.5" HDDs and NVMe’s, which are both more expensive than conventional big fat HDDs, but hey, works great.
If you can find one for cheap locally and get a decent deal on a compatible drive you’re set. You could stretch a Terabyte or two for a while as long as you’re not trying to host Jellyfin for too many people (and are OK deleting watched Shows/Movies when you start running low)
Changes like this are always made to “Enhance the user experience” yet the UX only goes backwards

Is there a trustworthy brand making these? I’d be afraid to buy a no-name and run into some bizarre firmware bug that just eats all my data one day

…new SCP?

This is what replacing workers with AI looks like.
Quality Control? Review? Pffftt, ain’t nobody got time for that! just generate and ship, baby, generate and ship!
Think of all the yachts our glorious leader CEO will be able to afford with all the money we’re saving 😍😍😍

Ugh, and lately I was having some playback woes so I was updating the app as soon as a new update was available 😵💫
Just revoked its access to my Google Account, now to remove it, install and setup the clean version on my TV Box 😮💨
Thanks for posting this!

Today I learned.

Lmao.
Saving nobody and blowing up what little is left of itself.

That’s what I meant by directional, I wish more games had it!

An option to choose what controller glyphs I want to use (Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo, directional) and a option to always use those glyphs even when mouse input is detected, so I can use Gyro without the glyphs constantly flickering ☺️
Man that’s sloppy. How the hell did no one at Google think auto-converting profile pictures from chatting app shortcuts was a bad idea?
Isn’t this the type of basic issue the public betas were supposed to catch? 🤦
