The Christies website. This popup goes away for no longer than 5 seconds if I click login. The website is impossible to use.

Ublock Origin will solve this. You’ll need to enable specific filter lists, as the default ones that are turned on are not enough.
- Ublock Origin > Settings > Filter lists
- Enable all “Cookie notices”, “Social widgets”, and “Annoyances”.
I replicated it on my side by going to www.christies.com and can confirm these filters will stop the notices. Annoyances is probably all you need for this use case, but since you’re posting this in a Privacy community, I recommend enable all three.

I do use ublock origin and that hasn’t influenced anything. I’ll try the other two.
You have to manually blacklist that element. It’s easy to learn how it works and it’s good to know it because you can modify any page to your likes.
