Google’s Battery Performance Program update was supposed to stop this.

    Seems like only a matter of time until my Pixel 8a is also affected.

    Good thing i never updated mine from stock firmware, haven’t had any overheating issues.

    Edit: i never use it for anything important, it’s effectively a spare device i use for anything i can’t do on my main device.
