Are you just figuring that out now? Attacking all its allies is what did it for me.

The US is a captured state now, and there are only a few ways out; voting is not one of them.

Welcome to the party pal, most of us knew it was traitor town when “Russia if your listening” was said on national TV.

I’m sure that everyone, including trump will feel the full force of the law. The FBI will immediately investigate make arrest and punish everyone involved in this blatant act of anti-patriotism and treason.

    Right?

If the GOP had an iota, a molecule, a QUARK of integrity, the cabinet would be impeached en masse. They are a disaster.

It’s almost incomprehensible. This is historical, it will be in history books in a hundred years.

Or even during. People think about Louis XVI getting chopped, but never the people who did the chopping getting chopped x4. And then, yes, Louis XVIII.

The real fruits of the revolution were from the seeds it planted blooming decades later in the Victorian era. Living through it just sounds like it sucked. They were a generation of martyrs for a liberal democratic future they barely got to see the beginnings of.

I’m shocked…but I’m also not shocked. This has gotten to the point that you think they can’t one up themselves and then they go and do it.

I’m looking forward to anyone using the word ‘signal’ around trump being suspected of mocking him.

Sensitive egotistical maniacs are so much fun to placate.

I assume for that to happen, a significant portion of the American political system would be in trouble. It’s not so much that Trump is some unique phenomenon, it’s more like he’s not subtle about it. We’re being screwed every day by the leader class, they’re just quiet enough about it that most people go back to their NASCAR and high-fructose corn syrup snacks.

I think Trump’s actions are not particularly unique, but he’s doing actions that have been previously condemned and in the minority. I’m not so naive as to think that all corruption can be eliminated, but when it’s out in the open and the people are getting away with it in the open, that’s much worse than what had happened before. Trump is a unique phenomenon in that sense and the sheer number of illegal things he’s doing.

We were heading towards something like Trump eventually if you track what monied interests, through the GOP, have been doing since at least when Nixon resigned. I’m sure the GOP were hoping to pick their guy instead of Trump, with Russia’s help, taking advantage of what they were setting up.

I get that there have also been corrupt Dems, and there so are, like Nancy Pelosi, but they’re not the primary avenue of the oligarchs to enact their agenda. Though they have captured the Dem leadership as well.

But I would welcome a more robust system to root out corruption. And for laws to be applied equally. If that takes out a significant portion of the government, then I think that’s fine, as long as it’s not some bullshit like what’s currently going on.

It looks like you’re using an ad blocker.

    Well, can’t read that website.

Plasters some big dead thing from a website called “getadmiral.com” over the page that I can’t remove.
